Free Spirit: Stories of You, Me and BC was a major project created by the Royal BC Museum in Victoria, celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the establishment of British Columbia as a Crown Colony.

A major exhibition was the centrepiece of this multi-faceted project that also included two touring exhibitions in the summer and fall, a book, multicultural programs and events at the Royal BC Museum, and a website featuring the People's History Project, which collected more than 300 family stories, photos and recollections from the people of BC.
